lack of gas?

i have a 305tbi with open element, and Hooker LTs, so basically its stock....it chokes at the top end with the hookers, could it be a lack of gas (only 2 injectors) or is it purely cuz im running open y pipe right now?

thanks

You have almost no back pressure. This usually hurts your bottem end, not top end. Check your spark plugs, I'm thinking it's running lean up top. What does it do exactly? Be more specific with what the car does and what you've noticed etc.

well....i just barely got it running about an hour ago and took it for a WOT run and it coughs and sputters at WOT in the higher RPMS. could it be fouling plugs? they are new but i was running rich for about 2 weeks.
