I was wondering if anyone knew the part # for the top gasket on the TBI? (The one that seals in the injectors) I need to replace mine. I went to the dealer and they said it only comes in a TBI gasket kit which is $50!!

Any help??

I had trouble finding one, too, a while back. I think I got one from Turbo City in the mail... 10 bucks with shipping? can't remember, but for that price, I'd just as soon buy the whole rebuild kit ($35 at Napa?) and do that..

 

dealer is either just trying to make a sale. or he doesnt have any other # on hand

should be 12-15 from a dealer. pod rebuild gasket set. comes with 4 orings one injector filter, and 2 gaskets for the pod.

go to a differnt dealer who knows their acs from.....

or go back and tell the parts guy you talked to hes retarded and youd like to look at his diagram on his computer to show him which parts you need.

I looked at the diagram and pointed out which gasket I needed, and he said it only came in the gasket kit I mentioned earlier, which is BS. I'll try again on Tues.

kit may not be bs, however, price is always negotiable. and i know i paid wholesale, at around 15 bucks. should i stock up on these and sell em or something. shipping would be cheap. let me know. give me 5 people, and ill order some to the dealership.
