VSS Buffer update!

Just took out my dash cluster to see how complicated the VSS buffer is. Total job took me 1.5 hours. The hardest part of the job is gettin the Cluster off. Chiltons says just pull and I have read that in alot of posts. The fact of the matter is there is a clip on the speed cable, and no play in the length of the cable. You must jam your hand up there and wiggle it in and press on the clip while pulling like a crazy man. All of this will pop off the speed cable. To put it back on you have to hold it with one figer to keep it in the right place and with another finger push the clip in. PRESTO, it is off and on. Hope this helps some one down the road.
