injectors don't fire!

whenever i crank the motor, there is no fuel goin to the tbi unit. I check to see if the pump is pumping, i think it is, its making that whining noise, could it be a bad fuel filter? Anything else? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check your fuel pressure at the TBI unit. If its good it rules out the pump and filter.

Then check for voltage at the injectors.

change the fuel filter first. and check to see if the injectors are making a little clicking noise when the key is turned. if there is silence then the injectors aren't firing and it is a wiring issue, if they are making noise then it is a fuel issue.

Tap a 9 volt pattery on your injector when the pump is running.

I had that happen once, and as silly as it sounds, the wiring connectors on the IGNITION COIL had slid off. That will actually stop your injectors from firing when cranking. Something to check.
