Weiand Stealth #300-66 (fit's TBI? no adapter plates)
I found a intake manifold I'd like everyone's opinion on..
http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...SM/300-66.html
It looks like I can just bolt on my TBI unit right on.. plus an additional bracket for my 700r4 transmission cable. Though the only thing I'm not sure of is if it'll fit.
I'd also like imput from those who have a Stealth intake manifold, on improvments over stock. Thanks

There is no rear heat cross-over for the coolent like there is on a stock TBI. Other than that it looks like it's all there.

I would be intrested in this manifold also. My TB with adapter on the 4 bbl manifold is too close to the HEI, so I loose my OE air cleaner.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket intake manifold that the OE L69 air cleaner will still fit? or should I just stay with my stock manifold until I get a new hood. Lookin at a steel cowl induction hood from Goodmark Industries. Don't want a fiberglass one.

i say do the same thing im going to do, get that intake, buy the Holley 670 cfm TBI unit (under $310), a custom burnt chip (~300), and a new hood so that you can fit an open element (14x3) K&N.
It would probably be smart to do this all at the same time because i believe that this intake is about 1.25 inch higher than O.E. and like the other people said, made for a 2 inch bore TBI, like the Holley 670 efm. Even if you want to keep the stock aircleaner for now and wait on the hood, i believe that it will fit under the stock hood, i just bought a flat base K&N at the lid hole was about an inch or so higher than the stock cleaner and it still fit (TIGHTLY) in the hood. And you will only be spending about 500-600 more bucks and you get a higher flowing TBI (~200cfm gain).

That sounds like a realy cool idea. Though the thing that bites is I'm in Canada.. So the end cost would probably kill me.. lol. Though I do hope somday I'll get there... I think in the meantime I guess I'll aim for the hood first, this way I can get the newer intake, go from there....

you guys are gonna waste your money buying all that stuff on a 305. Keep your TBI, do the ultimate TBI mods, get bigger injectors, get the edelbrock TBI intake or a carb intake. That Sealth intake has given people nothin but trouble, from vaccume leaks, to odd placed TBIs, to making it work with the uncentered positions.

Its not really a waste, because if i decide to get a new 350 TBI instead of rebuilding mine then i might as well buy parts that will easily swap.
