Too Rich
My car is running rich. How do I lean it out without messing with the fuel pressure or stock programming. Can this even be done.
How do you know the car is running rich? The only real way to lean out the mixture besides changing the fuel pressure regulator setting, is to feed the car so much air that the the car needs the extra fuel b/c of the air. why don't you want to change the psi setting on the regulator? You might want to first look at what caused you to be running so rich if you haven't messed with the fuel pressure.

Well I did all of the ultimate tbi mods and then made my f/p regulater adjustable. Before I made it adjustable it ran good. i could never get the fuel pressure right with the adjustable regualtor so I just went out and got a new one. With the new one it runs rich. It will kinda flood itself if you let it idle for a few minutes. It has also lost some low end torque. I am not going to mess with my new fuel pressure regulator. Thanks
You may need to have your injectors cleaned. They might have some dirt in them causing one or both to not fully close thus causing it to run rich. So they may have been the problem, not your fpr, all along.

Correct before I messed with anything it ran fine. After the Ultimate TBI mods it ran fine. Then I ***** with the stock regualtor since then it is rich

Got a gauge on it? Did you take the injectors or the injector pod off? Maybe fuel is leaking from around one of them, it's worth a look, I'm sure you already have though.
