stupid question but.........

will an edelbrock performer manifold fit onto those GM VORTEC heads without any machining required?i saw a test of them and they look like pretty nice heads, and cheap to boot.so im gonna start the search for some as soon as i get an answer from someone.thanks.

the edelbrock performer manifold will work on the vortec heads if you get the one specaillay made for vortec heads but it sounds like you just have the normal intake manifold thats for standard engines to make it work i imagine that it would take a lot of work. edelbrock performer manifold made for vortec has 8 holes insted of 10.

The standard Performer will not. Edelbrock makes a line of intakes especially for the Vortec heads.
