Cam help

Cam help

Ok i've decided on a 96 LT1 cam will i also need lifters or anything else....my valve train before the swap is it good shape...very clean inside and no noise what soever......also i would like to know what kinda of timing chain? gear setup i should use.....look to spend under 100 for the timing setup....i have a new Zoom double roller timing chain but i dunno if that a good choice or not help wanted

You can reuse the lifters and other valvetrain parts as long as they are in good condition. If the timing chain shows any wear it should be replaced, just make sure that the set you get is for a roller cam motor. 1987 or newer block such as you have.
