tired of LT1 Cam
im tired of searching for a good price on the lt1 cam. i went to shify's cam sticky and searched for the lift and duration and lobe, then searched for a new cam kit and tried to match the stock lt1 specs with a new cam. do ya think this is a good comparison to the lt1 for my lo3??

Nope. That's not a specific cam, it just says cam of your choice, but its not a roller anyways. You need a roller cam, and don't need new lifters. New springs are a good idea. If you're going to buy an aftermarket cam and spend all that money on one though, don't emulate some stock cam, step it up.

Need to know more about your setup. What are you planning, what do you want out of it, what heads, ECM tuning skills etc.

Re: tired of LT1 Cam
i have the stock lo3 heads on here now. im planning on finding tpi heads later down the road and porting out the exhaust side to compensate for smaller than lo3 ex. ports. new springs, lt1 cam hopefully a different intake like the performer. hedmen shorties and y pipe. ultimate tbi mods (already some of them), and thats bout it. i just want some performance out of this sbc. no tuning expereince yet but i will dig into that this weekend. gonna order aldl cable and maybe burner.
