Cam swap ??'s
Is it really necessary to remove the intake maniford when doing a cam swap? Is there anything that I might need to know beforehand about tools that I might need to buy? How long did it take everyone else to change the cam? Thanks

If you don't remove the intake and you pull the cam out...you'll hear a bunch of clanks as your roller lifters fall deeper into your engine! If that happens you might as well pull the damn motor and take it apart (drop oil pan....not fun)
You can get aftermarket roller lifters that actually have a spring to pull them away from the camshaft surface when you remove the push rods! They're a little too expensive for me compared to an intake gasket.
