Hungry for more power; not sure where to go
I've done some easy bolt-on mods - underdrive pulleys, open element, TBI spacer, Hypertech chip. I have everything well maintained (with "performance" cap &plugs and 8.5mm wires, all fluids, filters, new tires, yadayada). The G-Tech is only showing 159hp at the rear wheels (minus drag and all).
I'm thinking to get a cat-back, then headers next (headers 2nd cause I can't make time to do them right now). But I am also pondering a new intake, maybe a better cam, maybe even gears. I had been thinking about ignition mods, but I don't get the impression that it would make a worthwhile difference.
I've never done any of these mods, so I don't really know which would give me the best results. Any of you more experienced guys care to weigh in?

Crank/Alt Pulleys Exhaust is next!

I would probably do exhaust because it's the easiest out of the mods listed. Also probably end up being the cheapest. The intake and Lt1 cam swap wouldn't cost much but it would take some time and removal of the radiator. I've listed this probably a hundred times: My list of things I would do in order (if I didn't have experience working on cars), Gears w/posi, headers/exhaust work, intake w/Lt1 cam. That is my extent as to how far I personally would go with the Lo3. Some guys like going further and doing a more radical cam, intake, heads, larger TB unit. I do recommend if you haven't already, getting an open element air cleaner (drop base 14x3) and doing the adjustable fuel pressure regulator!

I agree with JPrevost.Gears w/posi,headers/exhaust,intake/cam if you don't already have an open element air cleaner and adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
