Where to purchase injector rebuild kit?

I called the dealer, and all they have is a TBI reb uild kit that includes the seals and O-rings for the TBI; but not the screen that goes over the injector.

Does anyone know where an injectgor rebuild kit can be purchased?

Thanks,

Thomas.

the screens should be in there. there are two kits, one is for the pod, one is for the entire throttle body. but the screens should be in there, however, they might not be on the diagram. did you check the box or the diagram?

I just called the dealer and asked if he had an injector rebuild kit. He said he has a complete TBI rebuild kit. When I asked about the screens, he said he didn't know if they were included?? Maybe I'll call back and have someone open the box and physically look.

The guy I bought the car from helped his friend rebuild the TBI on his 3rd Gen. He didn't think the injector screens came with the kit he bought, but he wasn't sure.

Are you saying that both of these kits should include the screens? The one the dealer has is somewhere around $25.

Thanks again man, I greatly appreciate the info!!

Thomas.

for what it's worth, the rebuild kits from Autozone don't come with screens. they have one that is more of an injector replacement kit and one that is a complete rebuild kit and either came with screens.

When I bought my rebuild kit, it didn't come with the screens. I had toi ask for them separately. They didn't cost much extra, though.

I ended up getting a seal kit from the dealer for $25, and it did come with the screen. Too bad it didn't fix the dripping injector problrm

I ended up getting a replacement injector and will be installing it today.

Thanks for the info guys,

Thomas.
