tbiononmics in full effect

let me start this off by saying that i do not condone street racing
but i do say that an individual has the right to do what they want
race on the track or the street.

just raced a newer style prelude on the high way at about 1 in the mourning also highway was moist due to previous raining a couple of hours earlier.

me and the prelude were crusin at about 70 passing each other like some sort of dance that birds due when they flirt lol i know i went off with that lol
but it felt like it since we were both trying to get each others attention with out stating the obvious.......

so he passes me then he drops it in gear his car got LOAD so i noticed he was testing me
so fudge it i honestly thought i was going to lose this race since it was a roll start and it was a prelude

shiit guess not i was behind him playin cat and mouse he would speed up so would i still on his bumper he tried to lose me on some turns but i went ***** out and stuck with him so then i guesed he realised that he couldnt shake me off but now my rs guage was all the way down so im thinkin fudge im going to brake something so we ended up on a straight away and bye bye mr honda
keep in mind that my rs only has a stock 350 in it and still running tbi with stock exhaust.

reason i post this thread in this section is to encourage my fellow tbi enthusists and not to given to the remarks of oh"you should get it carburated" you shold of got a z28 for the tpi
NO im more then content with my tbi.rally sport

once you start modifing this cars they really wake up

You swapped in a 350, and kept the stock TBI injectors?

I don't know of any differences, between the 305 or 350, TBI or TPI, cast iron manifolds. I think all 4 would have had the same manifolds.

Well, the 350 ones are larger, but that wasn't the point I was getting at. Just stock manifolds, either 305 or 350, didn't flow well. The rest of the exhaust is a big bottleneck as well. Singular 2 1/4" pipe just doesn't scream performance for 8 cylinders.

Re: tbiononmics in full effect

yea i kno it sucks that i still have the stock exhaust manifolds......
im tryin to jump on the performance side of things but its hard since im tryin to restore the car and make sure its running correct before i start dumping money on secondary important things......
like i just replaced my brake calipers and hoses becouse the the car would act funny when it stop even felt that on the driver side it would lock up a little
next i wanna to handle ball joints since i havent replaced them.
then hopefully i can get the exhaust from the tail pipes to the headers.
