Did I fry the ECU or is there some other problem?

I'll try to be brief. I swapped a TBI motor from a running vehicle including the engine wiring harness. Started up normal the first time for a few seconds and everything was fine. Second time an hour or so later it needed throttle to start like the IAC wasn't working but I'm sure its functioning because it regulates the idle at 600 RPM which isn't enough to start a cold engine or keep it running right, AND it now has an RPM dependant shake it didn't have the first time I started it. I'm stumped, please help.

Thanks

If the SES flashes once when you turn the key to the on position, then the ECM is at least working internally. If its a steady SES, its hosed or there is a power distribution problem.
