I have a 91 RS i am swapping the 305 to a 383 stroker with 450hp and 500ftlbs and still keep the TBI. Is this an worth the trouble? Is there an easy way to keep the tbi if not what mods do i have to do and where can i find the parts? Can anyone help?

You better learn how to do your own custom chips, and/or get yourself the EBL replacement TBI computer.

No matter what form of FI you choose you'll HAVE to learn to burn you own chips. No way around it, if you don't have full control of your induction be it FI or carb it will never run right.
With that said I personally don't think TPI has anything to offer your particular combo over TBI. To support your power level you will need the 454 TB, injectors, aftermarket carb intake and tuning. With the TPI setup you'll need the TPI setup, wiring harness, ecm, bigger TB, bigger runners, port the base, and tuning. Even then you'll restict power a bit in the higher RPM's, but trade that for more torque down low.
Ideally if you have the money to spend you should look at doing a single plane intake based setup or look toward the aftermarket stealth ram and mini ram style intakes.

How much work would it be to keep the 383 stroker carbed and convert the car to run a carb motor? What mods would be neccessary for fuel, comp, and electrical i want to keep the stock gauges.

well if u want to do it right ur goin to have to talk to bm.no u can use ur vitals like alt wiresfan wires distributer coil all can use but ur goin to need a over drive lock up if u wana get rid of all that extra wire but as long as u put carbed motor in and just hook up dist coil and alt leave ur trani hooked up it will all work until u get a lock up.

What do i have to do to the harness to keep the stock gauges? I am putting in a Holley 750 vacuum secondary with electric choke? How can i make that work? What mods have to be done to the distributer and fuel system? What do i need to mod my own chip do you know?

My "fully done" TPI makes power at 5400, my dad's at 5600, and Allen's and Vincent's at 5800 rpm.
If you can make 400 HP at 5500 rpms, why is 400 HP at 6500 rpms better?

And a small block chevy that makes power past 6000 rpms should use higher priced parts that are lightweight and designed for that rpm. Stock stuff isnt designed to handle that kind of stress.
