305tbi to 350tbi swap
i know this has been covered thousands of times, and i search and i read different everytime on what is needed.
i have a 350 tbi engine here in my garage. what is needed/required for me to put the 350 tbi engine in my car, in place of the 305tbi now. the 350 is a complete motor, runs right now.
thanks

You will need a knock sensor for a 350 and an ESC module for a 350. You'll also need some 55lb. injectors to swap in place of the 45lb. injectors or you can get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and turn up the fuel pressure. It's easier to just swap in the 55lb. injectors. That's all you'll need to swap it in. In order to get it to run better in your car you might need to do some reprogramming in the ECM. But I don't think it would take much on a stock 350 using the 55lb. injectors.

You can "get away with" just 350 injectors and a 350 chip. After that it's a very good idea to get the 350 knock sensor and spark module.
No matter what you do make sure you get the chip and injectors....it'll run like poo if you don't.

Re: 305tbi to 350tbi swap
The "chip" is the removeable PROM chip inside the computer, behind the panel that you remove with the two screws on the face of the ECM. Most guys like to run the 350 TBI PROM with the 350 engine. I run the 305 computer and PROM chip stock and turn up the fuel pressure, along with using the 350 ESC module and knock sensor.
