throttle bracket problems..

I have done a 350 swap into my 92 rs.I put an Edelbrock performer intake on it with a carb to tbi adapter plate..ok,now..I dont have anywhere to mount the throttle cable bracket that will give me the right travel on the cable.its either too tight(always open a little) or too loose(no WOT)..I need help..this is a simple fix I'm sure but I'm having a hard time with it....does anyone have pics of their install would you please post them if you do...thanks..Dave

Re: throttle bracket problems..

consider a summit or edelbrock or lokar adjustable throttle cable bracket. after adjusted i ended up using a pop rivet to lock it in.

The stock one will work provided you use adjustable throttle cable. I used the stock throttle cable housing but used a lokar adjustable cable for the internals. The other way is the adjustable bracket. I bought the edelbrock one, and it looked like it would work, but I never got to try it.

i ended up using that bracket by edelbrock and it worked fine, the only problem is that it doesnt have a place for the cruise control cable but it was easy to adjust your throttle and tv cable properly.

here is the same one with a spot for cruise control

Re: throttle bracket problems..

that may work for me because I have a t-5 and no cruise so I won't be needing that...I think Autozone carries that exact one..I may try it...Thanks man..
