i have a 91 rs tbi and it seems to pulling once i put into gear pretty hard will do over 5 mph just letting off the gas .... idles a little high........ and when i get out of the car theres a hint of gas smell in the air like i'm running rich ..... so i was wondering are these things related and where do i need to start checking this thing out?

 

pull your spark plugs to see what color they are.

 

i got the same problem but pull one of the injectors off and see if idle drops down or anything happens. mine didn't change idle or anythign. its throwin a code and i think its the fuel pressure regulator. *i hope*
