New fun TBI build

so the car stopped running, was recently broken into, and will cost some serious money to get fixed. all of this totally changed the futue plans i had for the car. So throw some ideas at me, tell me the positives and negitives of my ideas so i can make it better. I plan on pulling the motor sometime this winter so i would like to start getting parts in the next few months.

Its going to have a manual trans. Correct me if i'm wrong (never had a manual trans) but there is no linkage that has to go between the the throttle and the tranny like with my 700r4.

its getting dual throttle bodies. should i go with stockers? holleys? big blocks?

planning on an edelbrock airgap manifold.

needs aluminum heads. Was thinking that fastburns would be a good choice, but not sure.

tuning seems like the EBL would be the best idea. which ECM should i use (and why).

comp 1.6 full rollers.

dont know which cam. Lets hear some ideas here.

I am going to be using the stock block, but will be getting an entirely new rotating assembly, which means increasing the cubes. I would like to keep it under 355 cubes. What would you bore and stroke it too? I was thinking 327-335.

Its going to be a driver, so power needs to be all in by 6000 rpms.

probally going to add a nitrous system to it. what style should i plan on for that?

as far as tuning it goes, i'm thinking that tuning the engine on an engine dyno would be the best idea since it'll be out of the car anyway.

any other ideas lets hear them.

think i could fit this under a glasstek 2" cowl hood?

About the throttle linkage, you are correct.

EBL is def a good way to go for tuning and engine management.

Stock block does not bore well at all ive heard, so if your going to be doing all that work and dual TB's..... just go grab a 350 and get a stroker kit [383]. I think dual TB's on a 305 would be pretty useless.
