Re: plugs and wires?

As far as plugs go, I don't think you can go wrong with good ol' AC Delco plugs.

much better than most high dollar plugs . wires are a different story , ( good time to do total ign. sys. upgrade if you can afford it ) OEM type wires for the most part are carbon core . carbon core starts to degrade from date of mfg. . you could by a new set that has been in a warehouse/parts store shelf for several years . not a good thing . there are many after market wires that are great . M.S.D. , Acell , Taylor to name a few . i have all M.S.D. wires , coil , cap , & rotor on my car with stock dizzy . very happy with my set up . good luck .

AC Delco all the way for plugs. I have used Taylor and Mallory and they are both great for wires and the rest of the ignition.

Borg Warner Select spark plug wires, part number #8383 (or 8833?) for an 87-95 Chevy Truck TBI 350. They're 8mm instead of our stock 7mm, they bolt right in, they're inexpensive, and they work!

Not sure if there are PepBoy's on the West coast. However, they carry the Borg Warner Select wires. Be sure to get the Select's, as they are the spiral core.

Yep, Pep Boys out here, or Checkers/Schucks/Kragen has them too.
