would this part add decent power or just a waste of money going on a 350 with a 305 intake and tbi?

Re: tbi questions
You can't make decent power without a nice set of heads and cam. The intake combo listed there at Jegs is decent and is better than stock 305/350. You will gain some torgue and a few hp, but nothing significant.

Re: tbi questions
The intake manifolds for a 305/350 are pretty much the same. The Edelbrock 3704 flows better than stock but the bores are 2mm smaller than stock, lol. I usually take the 3704 and have it bored to 46mm or 50mm for more flow.

I have a stock manifold bored to 50mm that was just cleaned and powder coated with a nice matte black finish. I also have tbi base units, sensors, etc.

Re: tbi questions
In my opinion if you are running over 325-350 hp then go with an intake bored to 50mm with a 454 base unit and 65lb cop car injectors with a little higher fuel pressure than stock 13psi. You may need to run 18psi or so.

You will obviously need to burn your own chips

Re: tbi questions
Brian Harris from Harris Performace (tbichips.com) can assist you in that department. Contact him and tell him your plans and he will give you recommendations on the setup best for you. Let me know and I can hook you up with injectors, etc.

Re: tbi questions
It will only work on a small block manifold if the manifold is bored to 50mm or if you purchase an adapter from TransDapt that allows the 50mm TBI to transition to the 44mm(?) SBC intake.

You aint kidding. Outside of the Manifold and TBI, you might spend $200 bucks, if that.

For real, i never buy kits, they tend to be more expensive and it always seems you need to run out and get something during the middle of the project because its not everything you need like it says it is.
