best open air element intake

I have a 91rs 305 tbi. Ive put on a SS hood and would like to know what is a good open air filter housing to buy. I want it to clear the distributor and wires. Also if possible I want it to fit on a 350 or 383. As soon as I sale my el camino I want a bigger engine.

Re: best open air element intake

i picked up an edelbrock setup at autozone. after the paper filter it came with became dirty i put a k&n filter in. its 14*3. guess the only way to make it better would be getting a k&n filter lid.

Go to "Spectre Performance" on line. Check out some of there stuff. Ive got the Spectre "Power Lid" top over a spectre 14+3in filter in red. You can get them at Summit Racing on line.
