Engine Stalls Untill Its Warm...Plz Help
Hay all, well I have had my 89' Camaro RS 305 cid TBI for some time now and I am getting fed up with a recuring problem. Hopeing to hear some insight to it.
The Problem:
Every morning I start my car, it will rev up to 2000rpm then drop down to 400ish then stall.
To overcome my stall I have to keep feathering the throttle.
If I try to hold my rmp's steady at a giving number, the car starts to stall and I have to feather the pedal again to avoid that. It dosnt matter whether its cold or hot outside, problem still occurs.
Once the engine warms up the car runs fine and I wont have any more problems the rest of the day unless it sits for hours on end.
Other than running rich shes fine.
What I have tried:
Replaced EGR valve
Replaced Coolant Temp Sensor (Although I have heard it is possible to buy faulty ones)
Replaced PCV
Replaced Plug and Wires
Replaced Alot
EDITED: PROBLEM SOLVED READ BELOW

Check your IAC valve and make sure the passage is clean

Thanks for the reply Nub, I removed the IAC, tested for correct ohms, inspected, cleaned and adjusted the pintle to its correct position.
It did not solve my problem. Any other suggestions?

Have you checked your timing?
Are the injectors spraying a proper cone pattern while cold?
Pulling any codes ?
Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

I must give a shout out to Nub383. It was the IAC.
Originally I tested for correct ohms, inspected, cleaned and adjusted the pintle to its correct position on the IAC.
Then I woundered about its operation
Here What I Did To Solve:
Took out the IAC valve and set it aside.
With the car turned off, I stripped and wired 2 wires to my battery (12V).
Using Carefully stuck the ends of the wires into the first 2 sockets on the IAC Valve and checked for movement, I did the exact same for the other 2.
Guess what? No plunger movement...IAC is screwed Kinda thought so aswel when I couldnt move the plunger by hand.
Its a $90 replacement part at Carquest.
What I did in the mean time was I compressed the pintle/plunger. My car runs smoothly now.
THANKS FOR THE INSIGHT NUB!
