Putting a Cam in a 90 Rs

Hey, guys i want to put a cam in my 90 camaro rs 305 L03, is this possible to do with the engine still in the vehicle and besides radiator and ac condensor what needs to be removed. What is a good lift to choose and if someone could teach me a little more about camshaft specs

Re: Putting a Cam in a 90 Rs

you have swirlport heads so they are limited to about 4500 rpm and they pull hard to that.
you really need to search feature and start reading. there are thousands of ways of doing it and you need to know what you want to put in to match what you have.
i dont think your swirlports will take more than .460 lift so nothing bigger than that. not sure of the number though, may be off up to .470.
