305 TBI to 350 TBI

I've never done this before, but I'm wanting to swap a 305 TBI with a 350 TBI on my 89 Camaro RS Convertable. Myself, my father-in-law, and my brother-in-law are pretty knowledgeable when it comes to working on vehicles; however, we've NEVER done an engine swap. I have several questions reguarding if all of the wiring will be the same. I know you mentioned the majority of things I'll need, but yours is an 84, and I'm assuming it's carbarated...is it different with TBI?

Hmmm... shouldn't you create your own thread?

I'm so sorry, but I'm new to this "Forum Stuff" if you will, and I don't know how to start my own thread. Help?

Re: 305 TBI to 350 TBI

I moved this out of the Engine Swap thread you posted in to its own thread on the TBI forum.

The issues you will have do not relate to the nuts & bolts of an engine swap, but specifics on TBI. The members here will be better equipped to answer your questions.

Oh, to start a new thread, from the appropriate forum above the "Threads in Forum" line is a button "new thread". Click on "new thread", and fill in the blanks.
