CFI Water Outlet/thermostat Housing

I cannot find a crossfire injection water outlet/thermostat housing. Every one I found does not fit and the hose neck angle is way off.(napa, oehq, rock auto, and etc) it keeps hitting the a/c compressor. Does anyone have a CFI theromostat housing or know a suitable replacement?

Call the folks at Mid America Motor Works, http://www.mamotorworks.com .
They can probably hook you up with a cross fire vette t-stat housing.

weld up the original housing.

These aren't the best shots, but they will give you an idea of what it looks like.

The green wire in one of the pictures is currently holding up the power steering pump, as I have removed the support and pulley to do some other work.

The Part Number is 14064012, and it is specific to the LU5 engine only.

Well a chrome one doesnt care if your car is a daily driver or not. Buy chrome sand it down some paint it black and be done with it...you dont have to make it as difficult as you are.

Kitt

I don't know if you saw the thread in the History board re the Firebird DT500 pace car that is going to the crusher? It has a CFI in it and the owner is trying a sell parts off of it. If you contact him quick you might get lucky.

Sorry, i don't have the link to the tread handy.

Where did you find it? I'm having the same problem with the aftermarket housings. They interfere with the AC bracket.

Thanks!
