thomas1976 & robertfrank where did you get the inline fuel pressure fittings

Ronny what intake and nitrous setup do you have on there, how about a couple more detail shots of the drug setup.

fuel fittings are aeroquip, summit, earls, russell. Just a matter of ordering correct one. I have a speed shop in town that is a major distributor of aeroquip. so I just drop parts on desk and all is well. they meet any mailorder like summit jegs on $$.

Holley projection tbi intake with GM 7.4L TB. NOS brand 7006 universal

I never tested it for ET. I am using 50 HP jetting now to get comfortable. I installed a couple months ago. One nozzle supports up to 150 HP shot.

You can actually get the whole fuel pressure tester/adapter kit from autozone for about 40 dollars. They sell the Actron kits there.

thanks guys I'm gonna look into that gauge at autozone, really looking for a fitting with an 1/8"NPT that will let me hook up an autometer pressure gauge.

Ronny I'm gonna keep an eye out for track time updates on that NOS setup you are using.

Not yet, I'm still in the initial tuning stages right now but luckily it's going really well, just doing small tweaks to my VE tables to get it dialed in. I've been slightly touching on my WOT and it feels MUCH more powerful but I'm in serious need of my stall converter. I might have to step it up to the bigger tbi unit as to the fact that it seems to fall around 4800 rpms. I think I'm maxing the stocker out.

Re: post pics of ur 305 or 350 TBI Set up!

Just a regular 14x3 K&N Filter. K-1500 is the part number I believe. I actually made the air cleaner out of my stock lid flipped upside down and cut down the lid off of an L69 car I was working on a while back. I couldn't find a non drop base air cleaner here in town so I made my own,lol

Stock RS 305 TBI
Only change so far is the open element aircleaner. I pretty much messed up the paintjob, finding out that VHT paints are fairly sticky. Guess I´ll have to redo a cleaner version. Maybe make the "chevolet" somewhat smaller and the bowtie maybe a bit bigger.

Next up will be A/C delete to clean up the engine bay a bit more, then headers.

I might be able to get a set of L98 heads within the next few days. If that works out, I´ll start porting them, and then will first of all have to save up some money for a cam, EBL, valves, springs, timing chain, fuelpump and whatnot.

Lots of work to do still, or better said, I´m just getting started

Re: post pics of ur 305 or 350 TBI Set up!

Its is a electric fan . Thats the shroud that came on the car(car was a frankenstein when I bought it headed to the wrecking yard.) and just have not gotten around to changing it. I feel kind of dumb now that you mentioned it. After all the work I have done to let something like that go for so long is kinda ridiculous. Gives me a chance to go to my favorite place "Pick-N-Pull".
(Went to Pick-N-Pull and found a electric fan shroud in great shape. Changed it out with a little Armor-all and looks really good.)

the 91rs.
hedman headers
a/c delete
custom air intake (recently replaced with an open air element )
custom chip
smog/emissions delete

im rerouting some of the wiring and cleaning up the engine bay here and there. future plans include a manifold upgrade and msd ignition system.
i have a S/D tpi setup with harness im planning on converting to, but as i research the pros and cons, it seems i can get the same or more power out of the tbi.

I was tuning the first half of last year. As soon as I change ECMs and finish tuning I can take it to a Dyno and check my work. It's just so hard with the slow ECMs that don't update worth poo.

Re: post pics of ur 305 or 350 TBI Set up!

I just purchased an 89 RS with 305 TBI and 5 speed.
I cleaned up the engine bay a bit today. Looking much better than before but still needs more cleaning.
