Taking corners quickly, acts funny.

Taking corners quickly, acts funny.

Car runs perfectly fine. Here's the kicker, when I take a nice sharp corner, and get some side action, my car wants to die, and my rpms go flying up for a second as if I lose traction for a second while drifting, then they go down, which my car wants to bog down, I hold the gas to the floor, and it makes no affect on how the engine performs. However, if I press the clutch in, the car returns to normal.
Just a natural TBI thing or what?

Strange huh?
5.0L TBI, 5 speed.

Re: Taking corners quickly, acts funny.

First time I noticed it, I was on E, but it happened yesterday on 1/4 tank, and I believe it happened once with 1/2 tank. Car never used to do this....kinda strange. I felt it today without ripping the *** end loose, just taking a corner a little hard without losing grip.

I want to note, I don't drive like an ahole endangering people, I only rip corners in dead areas. Contrary to belief in this thread, I take excellent care of my car, while having controlled fun =)
------------
I find it hard to believe it's an electrical issue, perhaps it's a fuel pressure issue? But how? Maybe I'm losing fuel pressure around corners somehow..

Re: Taking corners quickly, acts funny.

there are not enough baffling in the fuel tank to keep the fuel around the fuel pump so when you round the corner the fuel moves away from the pump causing the engine to stall.

How does lack of fuel cause the RPM to increase?
