Time to Finish...... 88 Iroc Z Project!!
Hey guys here is teh Engine bay I have been working on, going to clean up polish and fix. I want to replace many lines as I can let me know what you guys think so far.
Weekend warrior Car, Done everything you want to a V8 305 I think so far but heads.....
I have replaced everything upfront on the supsension I believe I needed to do, brakes etc..
full tune up, and oil change, tranny flush
I gotta drop the tank again and replace fuel pump... I was thinking walbro this time what you guys think??
Anyone know belt size for V-setup? Or do I gotta do the String Trick?????

needs new fuel pump guys what do you recommend???
If I put fuel in the TB its starts on a dime, but then turns off.
just need to get a ncie fuel pump and then the vac lines.

As for the belt id say the string trick. id adjust the tensioner for the altenator to be about in the middle, then do the string and get a belt the same size this way you have some play in the tensioner incase its a little short or long. As for replaceing lines the fuel line is pretty easy, if you want you can get the line and bend it yourself. I cant tell what line you wana replace in the second pic.

Id definetly pull some of them parts off though and clean em up or paint em one, like the entire top of the water pump being rusted could use some touch up, and the tb adapter looks like its completely rusted as well

Run the WALBRO 190 LPH fuel pump or the 255LPH fuel pump, but some have complained of it overpowering teh regulator and the fuel return line not being able to keep up. For your engine the 190 LPH will be more than sufficient. But in any case I also have a stock TBI pump I pulled out of mine a month ago, when I upgraded. it works. I can sell it cheap, you'd just have to buy a new screen for it. (but all that work to pull the tank id really put a 100% brand new pump in there)
