hey guys ok heres my promblem i got a 1989 camaro RS 5.0 305 well i just bought the 4 $300 bucks runs been driveing it very good but this past weekend i tune it up and it been missing and plus the ingtion module went out so i replace it check all my wires and its not running right u think any 1 can help me out

 

well if it was running fine before the tune up. you either have a cracked plug, bad plug, crossed wires, or some other new part failure. if it was running bad before hand, then you have some sort of fuel, spark, or compression problem.

 

well i check the plugs to c if crack 1 but ther were fine all the wires are in the right place cap and rotor r good but when i got the car it had a slight miss and it sitll does the ingtion model went out so went to auto zone and got 1 and that 1 took a crap 2 so got another from car qest and it seem ok but not that great

 

did you put in delco parts or crap aftermarket things? i know half the time people put in aftermarket stuff and its worse then the 100k mile OEM stuff.

i put delco spark plugs but got msd wires and msd coil but a car quest ingiton modele

 

did you do the tune up and change the ignition modual all at the same time? and what about the cap and rotor?

 

You can have carbon deposits on your valves causing it too. thier is a lot that can go wrong. A bent pushrod, broken rocker arm, etc...

 

that could be it but isnt likly as he said it was fine before the tune up.

 

well actually he said he hada slight miss before the tuneup but probably not too likely of that.

 

ya it had a slight miss b4 but thanks guys 4 the help i got to check it out but be sides all that the car runs great just that little miss
