Anywhere upstream of the FPR close to the injector.

Re: fuel pressure gauge

I installed on the inlet side of throttle body so that'd be before regulator, so that is fine then?

Re: fuel pressure gauge

yes that is where i would put it also. the return side is just that. only the feed side to me would see the pressure since the return should see almost no pressure.

Re: fuel pressure gauge

electrical sender, i had a fluid filled gauge and it didnt work right, so I put the electrical sender and have a gauge inside the car now. I just switched from the 255 lph pump to a stock delco tpi pump, I am now going to hook up my mechanical gauge i use at work and see if it does not read 50 psi anymore. since everyone here said the stock return system would not keep up with the volume there and give me inconsistent pressure

Re: fuel pressure gauge

Can't say yes for sure yet. I need to put my other gauge in. I dont know if I trust the electrical gauge all that much! Other gauge being an inline mechanical for testing purposes only. I just need a consistent pressure so I can really get down on the tuning. I wanna see this beast roar. lol. I'll keep you all posted. (i also gotta change my intake gasket because I am losing a lot of oil and the plugs were oil fouled, and that has been like that since the intake/heads were installed so I am assuming the intake gasket is leaking because thier was a minor complication.

Re: fuel pressure gauge

I sure hope you get it dialed it, what heads did you go with?

The FP display in the car is goig to be practical, by under load testing.

I got edelbrock centerbolt heads real cheap on craigslist 350.00 for the pair with some roller tip 1.52 rockers

I am not sure I understand your 2nd comment. practical by under load testing?

Re: fuel pressure gauge

Ok, so this is the 355 you PM'd me about.

Can look at FP during WOT, for exemple.
