Which wires need swapping? 1228746 to 1227747
I just realized the computer on my TBI must have been changed because it reads 1227747 on the computer not 1228746. From what I just read on BMmonteSS's thread he said if you use that computer you have to change some wires around. I'm currently bidding on a 1228746 on ebay so that I can replace it with the correct ECM. In the main time I'm curious the difference between the two. If I were to stick with the 7747 what pins would have to repin? Does anyone have a diagram of it?

it seems like they are the same pinouts. but there are a few little differences. hope this helps.
A3 canister purge
C1 air converter solenoid
C8 psps
C12 mat sensor
C15 injector 2
B6 vats
there may be more but that is all i see.

The few things that are different aren't worth worrying about. All the important stuff is exactly the same. It looks like a direct swap to me.

Are those wiring diagrams for 1228747? EDIT: Nevermind I see they are named 7747...
7747 would be a better chioce the 8747... but 8746 is still well supported $61 and has MAT. 7747 does not...
IIRC I have plugged in 8746 to 7747 harness and ran, but don't remember, it should throw a code for MAT.

Now your confusing me? Your title says 1228747? Differant ECM then 1227747. All wiring diagrams for 1227747 are at:
