I'm converting my LG4 over to TBI, I got the serp and AIR systems off a 92. My car is manual, and Chilton's vacuum diagrams left out AIR system on the 92 auto, so either the auto has no AIR system or it doesn't connect with vacuum lines. Anyone have any idea? The AIR valves I have, don't look like they have vacuum connections.

So yours had no AIR system? I thought that was weird.

If you have metal tubes going into your exhaust manifolds then you have a.i.r most diagrams don't show the air system

 

Switching of the AIR bypass valve is computer controlled, there's no connection to the vacuum system.

 

Apeiron, Not true, I know the computer controls it, but I also know my car needed vacuum to operate it, as did a lot of cars. My confusion is that '92 auto TBI didn't, but the '92 manual does.

 

You have an 85, he has a 92.

 

Apeiron, My car is 85, but my AIR system is 92. And '92 TBI stick shifts due need a vacuum connection. This was the substance of my question.
