Will this combo work?

Hey guys i was wondering if this set-up will work on my car and clear my stock hood. I want to see if the performer air gap intake with a tbi adapter from this place http://marine-performance-parts.com/...bblintake.aspx will fit/ work at all? thanks in advance!!!

Ok well can I have an opinion on what you would think would work best? I'm trying to replace my stock manifold with something better.

holley projection, edelbrock performer, or edelbrock tbi manifold will be better. have you already done exhaust and are you ready to either tune it yourself or get a chip burned?

Re: Will this combo work?

Yea I have full exhaust on it already n would I need a chip if using the edelbrock tbi one? it states I wouldn't need one. N how would I tune it other than burnig a chip?

Ok thanks n how would I go about using this? I see it and it's like reading Greek or sumthin lol. I see all these threads or burning proms n it doesn't make sense to me. Is there n e one who would sell a chip made? Already for intake n exhaust upgrades with vortec heads as well?

if 400 bucks and a lot of learning are not in the cards then get a chip burned for you from tbi chips. no it is not perfect but it will be good enough. you arent looking for tenths of a second.

Re: Will this combo work?

I second tbi chips. I am running a stage 2 in my truck. It runs great. I needed something quick and didn't want to fool with tuning or dropping the cash on all the needed equipment. 140 bucks and three days I had a good chip. Sure I could get a better tune on it but it would take more time and cash.

I am also running an edelbrock tbi. Pretty much bolts right up. I had to mess with my vacuum brake line but that was it. Picked mine up off ebay for 120 bucks shipped.

When I was putting my truck together I wanted easy and clean looking. I sprayed the intake black. Looks bone stock unless you get close to it.
