Rough Idle When Warm

Okay, I have a 1991 Camaro RS with a 350 put in it.

when my car warms up if I stop at a light I have to hold gas and break so it will not stall out, but when cool it runs fine.

I've replaced ICM, Cap, Button, Pickup & Ignition Coils.

When I have $ I'll replace plug & wires.
what else should I check?
TPS? what to check for?
IAC?

I just want this fixed I've went broke buying and getting it running.

Try to disable the egr valve by plugging the vacuum hose that goes to it, then drive it to see if it stalls.

Sounds the same as an issue I had. I almost never found it.

Not saying that's your problem, but it sure as hell fixed my idle surge.

Leo, just because you replaced the egr valve doesn't mean its getting vacuum at idle. The egr solenoid might be letting vacuum through when it shouldn't, like at idle.

Re: Rough Idle When Warm

is there no check engine light on? is there a way to get someone to hook to it to see what the 02 sensor is reading? what are the fuel pressures? do you have an intake leak? grounds?

I checked it out the egr is working good but I shined a flashlight under the intake plenum the see the injectors and one of them has the has bare wire in 3 different places but not touching anything , but what's really strange is it has to warm all the way up to act up and yesterday when I let it run till the radiator fans kicked on it didn't act up except for missing every now and then and when I turned it off and then it would start and die and did that a few times then started u and ran with out acting up other than missing every now and then .

You could check the Air Flow Metter AFM.
