Hey guys can someone help me out I just got a 454 tbi unit from my buddy gave me now I want to can use it put it on my stock tbi 305 on my 89camaro

 

Don't waste your time. Your stock 305 tbi will not see any performance gains from doing that.

Do the ultimate tbi mods to your current throttle body, with an adjustable fuel regulator and you will be well off.

Being 100% honest and truthful.

focus on having the exhaust done, headers, high flow cat, catback exhaust. that will yield better fuel mileage.

eliminate the stock air cleaner and install an open air or some sort of cold air induction.

yeah. 100% overkill for a stock car. not to mention you will have to bore the intake holes on your intake out to 2"

 

i said better fuel mileage i meant more power and somewhat better fuel mileage.

i recomend doing the exhaust and changing the air cleaner, bump the timing up to 6* it'll help the car out a lot.
