What tbi units can i use
alright I'm having problems with a 92 camaro rs with the 305 tbi motor. I am getting really bad what seems to be misfiring at upper rpm's. I took it to a shop and they told me it seems like it is a fuel pressure regulator problem. He never put a fuel psi guage on it but he did go for a ride in it. I decided to take the fpr apart and the piece the spring goes into looks f*cked if you flip it over. i was curious what vehicles i can rob a whole tbi unit from without having to tune the computer or anything like that. i heard the big block ones flow better but not sure about the tuning aspect of it! Any help would be highly appreciated.

Any thirdgen, and any Chevy/gmc fullsize truck from 88-95. Possibly late 80's caprices or impalas as well.

1) The chances of finding 454 are small. You can use spring from any 4.3 (V6 - Astro vans), 5.0 or 5.7 L TBI engine.
2) 94 and 95 BBC run higher fuel pressure - 30 PSI. For a stock replacement just stick with #1
3) PM me if you really in a bind and need a stock spring - I have a few sitting in box.
