I've got a video somewhere where I was starting up and driving around my truck on 7 psi, barely.

Re: Fuel pressure

I thought 9--13 psi was the GM spec.

I jacked-up my '88 K1500 from 10 to 11.5 psi with no apparent change in driveability.

Stock GM regulator on the 1992 G20 Van I pulled the 350 out back in the day was running 14 psi. Have found the as installed pressure anywhere between 9.5 ps and 15 psi. In my experience the ones that were in the 13-14 psi range with a STOCK engine ran best.

Re: Fuel pressure

I bet what happened is someone in the past did a TB rebuild and used the POS regulator spring that comes from the parts store instead of the factory one. Parts store = flingy and loose, Delco = strong and stiff
