Fuel pump time
I have a spare TPI setup in my garage. Eventually my TBI may go TPI.
Can I use the TPI fuel pump without any additional changes or do I need to regulate it down for the TBI?

Re: Fuel pump time
Supposedly its not that big of a deal. I did it in my truck for a few miles before going TPI. You'll just have a ton of fuel returning to the tank lol

Re: Fuel pump time
Its fine. The stock regulator will do the regulating. The excess will simply go back through the return line.
Re: Fuel pump time
Far as I can tell, the TPI pumps and the TBI pump produce about the same volume, the difference is the pressure. The pressure regulator on the TBI will provide proper pressure for the TBI injectors.
I've been running a TPI pump (EP241) on my K1500 for years.
