Cam swap, which one to go with?

Ok, so I have read alot of stuff about cam swaps in the TBI's. It seems that alot of you guys have swapped cams in your TBI's, in particular LT1 cams. I am planning on doing a cam swap shortly and am debating over a LT! cam and there is this one that Eddlebrock sells for the 305 tbi which is suppose to work fairly well.

So, a) are there any compatibility problems with the LT1 cams with the computer or anything like that, or emissions problems.
b) If I do go with a used LT1 cam should I also replace the lifters too while I am doing that???

Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

LT1 cam is roller, edelbrock is flat tap points go to LT1
LT1 is cheaper, edelbrock isn't points again go to LT1
LT1 doesn't require you get new lifters, edelbrock does points to LT1
LT1 will probably perform better in most cases, edelbrock might, not sure about this but usually any roller cam of similar stats will outperform the flat tap.
If you get an LT1 cam you can reuse your lifters but might want to get new springs. Go with the edelbrock and you're going backwards from a roller setup to flat tap. My opinion, not worth it.
