Can't seem to get the old girl running...it seems to have fuel spray...and has spark at coil going to distributor...but no start

 

Also I noticed the oil light on dash was flicking on and of randomly and now is out..

 

Happened to my like 6 months ago...replaced icm,cap n rotor button...no start finally after boating and cranking on and off for like a total of 5 mins she spitted and spurred and finally ran....now 6 months later car done same thing....and now finally no start

 

You have fuel spray, you have spark at the coil. That doesn't mean you have spark ACROSS THE PLUG GAP where the spark does some good, and AT THE RIGHT TIME.

Check cap, rotor, plug wires, and if they're good...verify that the plugs aren't fouled or excessively worn.
Wouldn't hurt to find out if the gasoline is so old it won't burn. Not likely, but possible.

It's unlikely that you've lost compression, or plugged the exhaust--and if you have a burnable fuel/air mix, spark across the plug gap at the right time, compression and a non-restricted exhaust...the engine ought to run.

 

Thanks for help...I just drove 4000km...worked great...plugs are clean and new fuel....the only thing I can think of is computer not timing for some reason

 

Cleaned rotor cap...and replaced a plug and good as new
