Hi, working through the car, 1989 305 tbi. I have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump relay and complete throttle body. Now have fuel up top. Turn the key on and you hear the fuel pump prime. Turn the motor over and you get a squirt of fuel out of the injectors then nothing. Car runs well off a can of petrol. Any ideas on where to go next? Or how to check fuel pump pressure? Thanks

 

You’re saying the injectors leak ? Or just fail to pulse while cranking ?

 

They seem to get a quick pulse when first cranked over then nothing after that

 

Is spark consistent ? Sounds like a bad icm or could be a vats issue.

 

Connect a scan tool, find out if the computer has an RPM signal when cranking.
