Renegade Update

After a VERY long hiatus, it is going to happen. If you are interested, I have engaged with a foundry that IS going to do some test pours soon. I will have to check for quality of pours, finish and how our machining quality, fitment etc... I still have a little ways to go before I pull the trigger full blast, but at least the project is moving forward. I have all the tooling weighed and waiting on the foundry to send me a shipping quote so I can get the tooling out of here. I hope this helps to all the people asking this question.

Re: Renegade Update

Update! The foundry poured the first raw test pour Friday and the quality looks good. They sent a few pics of how it came out. Enjoy!

Re: Renegade Update

I'm not a crossfire owner, so please excuse my ignorance. How to the twin throttle bodies mount to that top plate? There appear to be no flanges to tap holes into?

These are RAW castings which have not been machined yet. They are fresh pics from the foundry right after the pour. Hope this helps.

Re: Renegade Update

Congrats. That is cool....and the culmination of a ton of effort on your part. Casting looks great. Way, WAY better than any stock CFI casting ever looked!
