Fuel Pump Recommendation for 305 TBI
Fuel Pump Recommendation for 305 TBI
Hi Guys, need a new pump. Original one lastest 140k!
A lot of pump people recommended in past are either no longer made like the AC Delco, or quality has supposedly fallen off.
Any recommendations for current offerings? Would a TPI pump put out too much pressure for the regulator/return system?
Possible future mods might include a cammed/carbed 350 which I would need to downregulate no matter what, but thats in the future. I just want to get this thing back on the road again for summer.

TPI pump is fine. Any excess will go back to the tank via the fuel return.

I put a TPI pump in mine years back for tuning. I did notice first time I primed the system I had a small leak at the fuel line to throttle body connection. A little snug down and she's been good to go for a decade or so.
