Everybody Please Read! Need Help Fast!

Ok, I am outside right now replacing my O2 sensor. Well, I got it all hooked up and everythiung btu I have an extra connector just hanging there and I dont know what it connects to.
The connecter that the o2 sensor plugs into is attached to another series of wires/cords whatever and they are in one of those plastic protector things. Coming out of it, there is a wire that looks sort of like the o2 sensor's wire in that it is kinda small, and it has a connection on the end. I've looked all over and I cant find what it goes to. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
And while I'm at it does anybody have any tips on how toi get a wrench in there to tighteb up that o2 sensor a little more?
Please post fast cause I'm running out of daylight and I have places to go tonight and tomorrow and I need to know where this connection goes!
PLEASE HELP!!!

Go to the autoparts store and ask them to borrow their tool for the O2 sensor.. its kinda like a a socket with a notch cut out for the wire to run though. Works like a charm.

No idea about the wire though.

is it a slide connector? if it is, look at the drivers side of the block, between the front two cyls there is a lug, it is a water temp sender(i think, i forget). make sure the connector is on that.

You're right TIm,
I drove it around and I wasn't getting a reading from my temperature guage. I'll have to let it cool down a little and then go reconnect it.
Thanks

Tim beat me to it. I was thinking exactly that. The only connectors that run together with the o2 is the oil pressure and gauge temp. To be more accurate, it's between the number 1 and 3 cylinder ;p, take that Tim. .
The connector is flat and just slides over. I had problems with getting a good connection so I had to wedge a small screw imbetween to keep it on. I got a little tired of the bouncing temp gauge even though it was kind of funny at times.
About the o2 sensor, I just use an adjustable. Works everytime as long as the sensor isn't 10+ years old.
That socket tool is a rip and only a last resort.

Hey, I'm back.
I've been looking for the thing and I still cant find it! Where is it EXACTLY?! I cant find anything for it to connect to! I looked in-beween the cylinders and felt around for it for a good hour and after all of that I still have a loose wire hanging! Uh, that didn't sound right
Draw me a freakin' map
