I was wondering if buying a performance Throttle Body would be worth it, or if I do the Ultimate TBI would that be about the same thing????

 

There's lots of other stuff to do first. Especialy for a 305.

 

Well you know you might need a Holley 670cfm unit after you do heads, cam, intake those sorts of things when your horsepower number increases. Doing the Ultimate TBI mods will just get you faster with your stock TBI unit. So no, as of right now you wont need a performance throttle body.
