umm... how do you do it?????

The victim is a 91 RS 305 TBI
Plugs.... And please, NO FLAMES.....
I got the plugs in on the drivers side... and that took a while to do, and the last one (closest to driver) was a real bizitch..... anyway, i'm looking at the other side (passenger) and I am not even seeing the plugs... hahaha
this looks like a job for mighty mouse....

I'm thinking of maybe putting it up on jacks and trying from the bottom, but i don't know how that will work either...

Does anyone have any tips??? any tricks??? any suggestions???

btw, I bought the car in Dec. and I noticed its got a fairly bad spark knock problem, and it misses sometimes (if it hasn't been run for a couple of days) so i bought the wires and plugs.... anyway, i get out there to replace them, I take out the first plug, look at it, and Its rusted and is a stock plug... this thing is a 91 for goodness sakes... The interior is in excelent shape so I just assumed that someone took at least a little care of the motor, but NO... Stock plugs, no wonder its missing.... they are supposed to gap on .035 and the first one was closer to .050

You gotta jack up the car and go in from underneath to get at them. Theyre a real PITA to get at form the top

Get all 8 from the bottom. Its easier. If you have a friend to help with wires (have them hook 'em to the cap and drop them down) you can get the wires done in 20 mins.

Wear gloves as much as you can if you enjoy the skin on your knuckles... *** knows I was bleedin quite a bit the first time I changed 'em

Now is a good time to learn cylinder #'s and firing order.

Driver's side from front front to firewall are 1 3 5 7

Passenger side front front to firewall is 2 4 6 8

Firing order is: 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2.

next time you can say yeah plugs 6, 8, are a pain to get to

Be carefull with those rusty plugs. I broke one off in my head when I changed mine. I had to use WD-40 and an easy-out to get it. At first I thought I would have to pull the head.

watch out for the fan switch on the pass side dont break it. i guess i broke mine when i changed my plugs i think the connector coming off the wiring harness is what broke because i dont see how on earth a little needle looking thing is supposed to stick in the sonsor. oh well thursday when i get paid im gonna buy a lower temp fan switch maybe like a 176on 160 off or whatever it is. right now im running an actualyt fan switch from inside the car but i rarely need to use it because it doesnt get hot until your stopped.

This brings up a good point. All ways put a dab of anti-sease on the threads.
