Fast LO3????

From what i am reading...it seems that no one has faith in the LO3 powerplant. Using bolt-ons, such as heads, intake manifold, headers...maybe a new open element cleaner....and of course a catback exhaust...what is the general area of time that my 90' FOrmula 5-Speed would do a qaurter mile in? Any rough ideas? anyone run with a similar setup? Basically, is it worth keeping.

My camaro with pretty much the same mods ran a best of 15.05@ 91 mph.

heads are a major bolt on and most people aren't down for it. NJ speeder will run any day now and we'll see how all the bolts ons can affect the 305 TBI

Yeah it seems that way around here. I personally have faith though and I am hopping up my shortblock and adding all the needed upgrade items like cylinder heads and cam.
