Holley TBI

I just received my new Holley throttle body. It was drop shipped straight from Holley but the four BBL adapter was back ordered...
HOW can Holley themselves not have this stuff??? I will use my home made one if it doesn't get here soon.
I am supprised at the poor finish of the body, sharp edges and casting flash all over. Three hundred bucks is a lot of dough for such a simple piece of equipment, I think a bit more time could be spent on deburring.
I am looking forward to trying it out but it's 5 degrees outside now and I dont have THAT much ambition.

Eventually it should end up on my 31 Model A, but for now I am going to try it out on my camper. Between this forum and the DIY and a coupla others I was brave enough to install TBI on it and WOW what a differance I have seen so far. Way better starting and driving when I first start it outside (below freezing). I want to try it out on the hiway on a long run as soon as the Holley is on.

Why debur it? not like it's a carb and you gotta fidle with things .
What engine are you installing TBI onto?

Ok , just kiddin, The carb didn't do this damage.
It's going on a GM Crate I bought for my Model A that ended up in my camper. The complete 330 HP. Its looking like I wasted a lot of money on carb and dist going to the TBI (so far it looks like a good switch)
Please forgive me for it's not an F-body. I got the throttle body installed today and it sounds great in the driveway but I didnt want to try it out on the highway until the snow goes away and the road salt is gone.
It's a 502-6
