How can I tell if this is an LT1 cam?

I got a cam off of Ebay, the guy said it was an LT1 cam. I'm not doubting him, but I just want to make sure before I go to put it in. How can I tell if it's original? I checked for #'s and such and found 241-CPC-BC-1 on it. But yeah, if any of you can help me figure this out I'd greatly appreciate it.

That is the same number on my LT1 cam. The number is right by where the fuel pump lobe would be.

????????

Now I know that there are a few different LT1 cams out, so I am not to worried. But I recently (sorta recently) purchased a cam off someone over at www.camaroz28.com. Anyways, marking on mine reads
705 - GMPT - 8C - 17 ---
or B
the dashes actaully are dots on the cam. Any insight is appreciated!

You might also want to find out if the cam is from a f-body or a 'Vette. I think the 'Vette's LT1 cam had a little more duration than the f-body's. Maybe you could call your local GM dealership and have them look up the code. I'll be getting a LT1 cam soon too
Check out my new sig and try not to hate me

lol. yeah, thast why I am not worried, because you have the f-body cams, the y-body cams, and the b-body cams (I think), and they were all different! I just wanna make sure i didnt get stiffed.

the number on my cam seems to be different.

As far as I can make out, it looks something like this..

705.GMPT.BC.16

Hmm..

Does anybody own a caliper? That's the easiest way to check lobe lifts...
